"Wait, isn't summer supposed to be carefree?"
Summer is delightful. But between the shifts to childcare coverage, school, camp-mania and the lack of structure, it's rarely restful for Moms.
It’s a lot. But the never-done list isn’t going anywhere. So, do you want to make your wellbeing a priority?
Although Moms are time-bending, multi-tasking magicians, we tend to prioritize other people's needs before our own. But the price is high.

Hi, I’m Leslie Forde, the founder of Mom’s Hierarchy of Needs and creator of the TimeCheck Challenge.
When I returned to work after having my second, I experienced severe burnout. It was a long journey for me to become a Mom. I am so grateful for my children, yet it’s been an emotional struggle to make time or give myself permission for self-care.
I have spent the past 8 years researching the why’s behind the stress and how to flourish and grow while raising kids. I’m still a work-in-progress. And it’s been wonderful to connect with amazing people sharing this journey.
There are so many resources to help with parenting questions. Little is dedicated to helping us thrive.
Our wellbeing is vital. The Mom's Hierarchy of Needs is all about the complicated path to get there. The TimeCheck Challenge is a small but mighty step.
